ESX is a drunk friend yelling a bad idea into your ear.
Weened on bands like New Order, Tom Tom Club, BLONDIE and Connar Mocasin, ESX throws the bomb of an infectious beat first, and follows it up with the tear gas of sing along melodies. Lyrically, they blur the line between essential and… wtf?
Formed by guitarist Alex Kemp and singer Sam Neider, the group quickly expanded to include Aaron Miller on drums.
Based in a recording studio behind a surf shop in Venice CA, ESX refuses to sweat unimportant details, opting instead to focus on the sheer joy and idoicy and radness of making and playing music with friends.
